My grandmother insists on calling it a "Kimball", which both irritates and delights my mother.

Rainy tomorrow, but light jacket weather maybe.

Why do you think you can't write poetry?

My Kindle is a guilty pleasure.

I agree with bright in re: poetry.

When I ran out of work to the market today, the car told me it was 68! It smells like damp earth out, the dogs paws are full of mud and I love my Kindle. Though I didn't expect to. Borders was excruciatingly poorly managed.

Switters, you do write poetry.

42 degrees here, and it feels like spring.

hey guys, it's days like today that the lutherans warn us against.

What is poetry? Who the hell knows? Not anybody here.

When I first read you, I thought here is a writer with that rarest comic genius. Patrick Kavanagh thought the comic spirit was the essence of poetry. Your gifts haven't left you.

Stop smoking. Stop drinking. Stop bloody whining.

Write more. We deserve it.

john, i can't find the goddamn link to the world cafe show that featured the singer that jimmy ripped off. maybe rundeep can. but this was the first song that i taught myself to play on the guitar, and as we speak i'm reteaching it to myself. after all, i had a decent music education.

I'm still hoping for another blizzard. Seriously. I can't stand the thought of spring coming already.

Believe it or not, I can't easily find a link using clues: "some guy" "Zeppelin rip-off" "about a month ago." However, I did find something I'm now enjoying: http://thekey.xpn.org/songs-in-the-key-of-philly/

What, and turn it into kindling? (Badump-bump)

I just love the sound of those longer strings: the bouzoukis, mandolas, etc. A little recorder goes a long way though. Fucking talented people.
