I'm hoping for an Ohio State v. Kentucky final because the not-so-fictional town of Port William is just northwest of Lexington and Andy Catlett had an epiphany just east of Columbus. As usual the Amish were involved in both instances again.
Also, Danny Branch bought a mowing machine, slightly used, in southwest Ohio.

I want the same match-up but for different reasons Swit. A- I want Rick Pitino to lose because I can't stand Rick Pitino. B- I want Bill Self to lose because I can't stand what he did at Illinois. (and because I hate men who wear hair pieces.)
I know, I know....rooting against someone is unsportsmanlike. Don't care. I'm unsportsmanlike when it comes to greasy, slimy, college basketball coaches. (Not that Calipari is much better, but hey...that team can play! I can root against him in the final.) Sullinger's a beast. I hope OSU wins it all.
Well, I can't really find fault with your reasoning: there's something uniquely grotesque about unseemly coaches no matter the sport. But I do really like this time of year: final four, masters, french open, mid-season replacements... just the cream of the crop.
And the opening of baseball season!
Guys - I have tried and tried, but basketball just doesn't do it for me. I don't know, it's kind of like marmalade. I mean, either you have the tastebuds for it or not. And I think I killed those tastebuds with too many peanut m & ms and too much college football.
But I do like me some baseball.
Even though I gave up golf 6 years ago (after 40 years of playing it) The Masters is my favorite sporting event of the year. Most beautiful golf course ever, and it means that spring is officially here.
Cindy, I can't watch baseball till september. Too many games and assholes. But I love the game of baseball. I grew up watching college hoops with dad. But yeah, college football rules all.
Augusta. Same course every year, complete with azaleas. Ties The Memorial for me as for favorite.
Spring. Pretty different for me this go around. Feels good, and cool enough for Moondog to need rib bones from the butcher and a fire.
great. "papillon" is on 16. pbs is killing me this month, and not just with pledges.

Two of my favorite movie quotes of all time.
Kentucky in, although Louisville showed major cujones. Now...Buckeyes!
"how would you beat [kentucky]?"
"with a stick while [they] slept."
if state has a chance against kansas they're gonna have to play run-gun-holler-foller ball for 39.5 minutes.
So far, nice Big 10 style defense. Drawing the charges is huge. Demoralizes the hell out of Kansas. They keep this up, they'll have a nice chance. You gotta figure Kansas is going to go on a run.
more gun than run, that's for sure. but i'm sitting here listening to kenny smith at the half and wondering if he's kind of a complete doofus. he makes charles sound cogent.
2 big defensive plays down the stretch here. Nice block by Sullinger, nice steal breakaway layup by Craft to retake the lead.
Damn. One more bucket and the Bucks could have controlled the clock and the ball under a minute.
Is it me or are they letting 13 year olds into college these days? (yeah,I know, it's me)
great game.
state just choked. monday should be a great game too.
Yeah, that was a little disorganized in the last 30 secs. Nice try by Craft on the FT. Two good teams will play for it, which is all you can ask for in the tournament.
the katy/katie perry snl is on, and dang so far it's dang funny. tennis tomorrow, and resting my finger. sort of. again.
Kristen as Greta. Damned funny.
You should swing over to the message board one of these days. Keifus is redoing his bathroom.
OMG, you guys are watching this too! I'm really enjoying it, and Katy is really talented. And beautiful, and Russell Brand is an ass.
